Welcome to the Collaboratory

The Wearables Research Collaboratory (WRC) is an open collaboration and research space for wearables-related initiatives, projects, and ideas stemming from the burgeoning interest in wearables and their impact on users and their work. As a collaboratory, we represent an incubator for bold ideas, an environment where participants explore emerging wearables and share empirical direction for investigating the challenges and opportunities these technologies represent.

We meet every Friday, 3:15 pm to 4:45 pm at Nolte 203.

Please email wrcollab@umn.edu if you’d like to join us. There is no commitment necessary. All undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, and faculty members are welcomed to drop by!

WRC is also social! Find and follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to get the most up-to-date information about our work.

The most promising thing that I found is an exciting new VR software called ImmerseMe. ImmerseMe is an immersive language learning program that (when it comes out) will be available on iOs and Android via Cardboard.
