WRC welcomes three research assistants to the team this semester. The RAs are undergraduate students interested in learning more about wearables and emerging technologies, and are devoted to assisting the core members of the team to conduct their respective research and studies.

Nathan Ernst is a Technical Writing and Communication major who is a returning RA this semester. Nathan worked on Google Cardboard and Theta 360 cameras last year and is a co-author on a collaborative article that the team is writing to reflect on their learning experience.

Alexander (Xander) Westgaard is a Food Systems major who is new to our team this semester. Xander has worked on an iPad deployment program in his high school. He also has experience with DIY computing using tools like Makey Makey to build simple data input.

Azana Adefris is a Technical Writing and Communication senior who is also new to our team this semester. Azana is interested in virtual reality gaming systems and will be exploring tools like HTC Vive and Google Cardboard while on the team this semester.

Welcome, RAs!
